Allows one additional round in the magazine for Ruger M77 rifles chambered in cartridges such as .375 Ruger, .416 Ruger, all standard-length belted Magnum i.e., 7mm Remington Mag, .300 Win Mag, .338 Win Mag and .458 Win Mag.

This floor plate uses all your existing factory parts and is machined from solid 303 stainless steel. Floor plate features an ergonomic shape that allows for a comfortable all-day carry. This has become a standard accessory for Alaskan guides and hunters.

Fit perfectly

The extra round floor plate fit perfectly in my M77 Hawkeye Ruger Guide gun. Initially the rifle came with the factory laminated stock which was garbage for a .375 and Alaska's inclement weather. I put a Bell and Carlson stock on it and the plate installed perfectly. Fit and finish is excellent.

Product is very well made and fits perfectly on my Ruger M-77 Alaskan rifle. I can now load 4 .375 Ruger cartridges in the magazine and they all feed reliably. The extended floor plate does not adversely affect the "carry-ability" of the rifle and looks good as well. A quality product.

Well made product that outshines the investment cast oem floorplate. Easily installs in less than five minutes. Extra round of 375 ruger on tap. Adds to the overall working gun aesthetic. Arrived in about a week. You would be silly not to purchase this necessary upgrade for your Hawkeye.

Overall, excellent quality, fit and finish is excellent, shipping was fast, install was a breeze, alignment with the trigger guard is finicky, not the floorplate design, my factory floor plate is difficult to get aligned perfectly, have not field tested it yet, but rifle cycles perfectly with 4+1 of 375 Ruger! Thank you Joseph Von Benedict for introducing me to a must have for all Hawkeye rifles, just wish there was a blued option for my 35 Whelen African.

Took me longer.to find my punches than to swap it ,wow easy.looks great! Any idea on making sure the pin does not back out?
